The Extremely Frustrating Part of Writing

I am going through the process currently of trying to create a website to display my work. As I work on this project though, I keep thinking about how I am going to end my book. The most extremely frustrating part of writing is the fact I can't figure out how to give my characters a proper ending and send off. I am at a tug of war within myself. Do I allow the reader to be in tears of happiness or sadness? When I started writing this book I wanted to tell one of the greatest love stories ever told. I tried to reach into some of my own experiences. Some of the irony in my book is some of what I have been through or what I have seen others go through. My goal was to have this book completed by the end of summer. Well here I am, it's August 31st and not an end in sight. Art, can't be rushed right? You have to honestly feel it or be prepared to put out some pretty mediocre work. Well, this journey shall be continued, and hopefully, the next blog will have good news! Stay tuned.
