Somebody somewhere their heart is in mourning
They watched the sun come up this morning
No sleep and only their tears they weep to keep them company
Every heartbeat reminds them of a loss that has come without warning
Somebody somewhere had their heart broken
They shed tears for someone that didn't have the sense to want them
They question their worth in a world so cold
Only to be told they weren't the right one and their being left to interpret
Somebody somewhere is in pain
They try to avoid it and smile even when it rains
They try and find ways to cope
Within it all they try not to lose hope
Somebody somewhere is lost and trying to find their way
Only to be blinded by the day to day and their faith begins to fade
Their spirit inside waivers in hopes that someone would come and save them
Only to realize they are solo and the choice is theirs alone
Somebody somewhere is needed
Even if its just a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen
They search for their purpose and don't realize the answer is simple
Be the change you wish to see in this world but yet its not heeded
Somebody somewhere
Just listen
