Telling Heart

I tell you I want you

Yet it isn't enough

I tell you to just touch me

You ignore my lust

I tell you that I need you

Yet you claim you are there

However when I speak to you all I get is a blank stare

I tell you to touch me

Yet its only at your beckon call

I was never enough at all

I'm screaming for you to see me

Yet you don't even know that I am there

You keep on saying you love me

Yet the love you speak doesn't even run deep

I get tired of repeating myself

You won't learn until I am no longer around

You keep playing this game of hide and seek

The love you claim you have for me will have gone

Taking its chances on higher ground

How many times do you want me to tell you

I should always be enough

The love we shared is hanging in the balance

Just waiting for the weight of all this to finally break

I tell you to listen but you can't hear

When I'm gone you will see just what was at stake
