Welcome everyone to Writing In Zen! We are now live! Take a look around, read my blog, share your thoughts, or send in a story! Some of the poems that you will see written from time to time are from things I have experienced personally or witnessed from being around others. I observe people when I am out and about and some things that I see just stick with me. Everyone has a story, and the writer in me always tries to figure out and piece together what that story may be. This website will also serve as a place to discuss the art of relationships. The good, the bad, and the indeed very ugly. Just keep in mind at the end of it all each of these stories started with "Love" regardless how the story ends or is continuing to play out. Love exists in many shapes and forms my friends, but you have to open yourself to it to honestly see it. You will also get to read some of the letters that are written for an upcoming project which was announced on Facebook. The Writing In Zen project will be partnering with a local hospice. I will be assisting patients with writing their letters to their families and loved ones. I gave it some deep thought, and it will not be an easy task by any means, but I feel that it is something that I must do. I think there is a purpose in this project far more profound than I can understand right now, but I am going to follow it through. If there are those that have something to say before they make their transition, then I want to be sure that they have the chance to do just that. These letters are kept anonymous so names will not be shared in any way. Remember, if submitting a story to Writing In Zen you are kept entirely anonymous. I look forward to seeing the perspective from other points of view on matters of the heart.
